If you're anything like me; I love to know what my writing heroes are reading.

I can't imagine that I'm anyone's writing hero, but I won't let that stop me, so here's some of the books that I've recently read or am currently reading that I love. Check them out!
“The audiobooks are phenomenal.”
The Dresden Files - Jim Butcher
If you're a fantasy/sci-fi fan then you're probably well aware of Jim Butcher's Dresden File series. Chicago's only paranormal PI, who just so happens to be a wizard too. I've take to Audible for this series and listen to them instead of reading, and let me tell you, the audiobooks are phenomenal. Read James Masters, who does such a great job on the whole series. I'm currently about half way through the series and listening to Proven Guilty. I won't give to many details of the story away, too many spoilers to the books before. The whole series has been great so far, so highly recommended.
“A name to remember.”
Dead Man Walking - David Green
If you like Dresden, then you are sure to love Dead Man Walking by David Green, from indie publisher Black Hare Press.
After a near death experience PI Nick Holleran learns a horrifying truth. Hell is earth, and demons walk among us. This short read that a finished a couple of weeks ago, that I absolutely loved. It is such a well told story, that is baffles the mind that Green was able to get so much world building, story and heart into these few pages. David Green is certainly a name to remember, and I for one can't wait for the sequel. Check it out on Amazon, it's only 99p for the eBook. Thank me later.
The List - What else am I currently reading
At the end of each of these What I'm Reading Now blog posts I'm always going to include the list of books/comics/audiobook etc... that I'm currently in the middle of. Here goes...
Proven Guilty - Jim Butcher
Zero Hero 2113 - Anthology from Black Hare Press
SENTIENT - Jeff Lemire/Gabriel Walta
